Property Management

The Property Management Office supports the Director of Materials Management and Logistics with maintaining appropriate Property Control, described in UPPS No. 05.01.01, as follows:

The Director of Materials Management and Logistics maintains records of the property inventory of each Department Head, adding new items, and removing deleted and transferred items. Materials Management and Logistics has implemented new cutting edge technology and processes.  We are using Barcode Scanners and RFID Readers to document that inventory tags have been read, and, therefore, verify that assets have been inventoried. This new Inventory methodology will be called the “Electronic Verification of Equipment” or (E.V.E.).
